Hydrotech Acquires DynaDrive Company Located in Solon Ohio
Product Lines Add to Hydrotech’s Automation Systems Capability, Competence and Controls Capability

Cincinnati, Ohio -- Hydrotech has acquired the DynaDrive Company located in Solon Ohio.  DynaDrive is a Motion Control distributor that sells and services the Bosch Rexroth Controls (Indramat) and Bosch Rexroth Linear (Star Linear) automation product lines in Northern Ohio. DynaDrive’s additional product offering includes, Yaskawa, Marathon Electric, Wittenstein (Alpha) Gear drives and couplings.

DynaDrive, founded in 1982, has vast market experience in automation, machine tool, tire and rubber as well as a presence in many other markets.

According to Hydrotech President Rex Wetherill, “the acquisition is a perfect fit for us.” Hydrotech is a motion controls distributor & system integrator for Bosch Rexroth Hydraulics and Pneumatics. DynaDrive will be a key to Hydrotech’s strategic plan to increase its product offering and capability to compete in the growing automation market. “Having all of the new Bosch Rexroth products adds to our automation systems capability, competence and controls capability,” adds Wetherill. Hydrotech now has a complete motion control offering with technical competence in hydraulics, pneumatics and electronics.  In simple terms, if it needs to move, Hydrotech can help from concept to start-up.
