(West Chester, Ohio) PRNewswire/ -- CONTECH Construction Products Inc. says it recently made two acquisitions. The company purchased Plateau Pipe Company of Cookeville, Tennessee and Thompson Culvert Company based in Missouri.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Plateau Pipe manufactures corrugated metal pipe for customers in Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina and South Carolina. CONTECH will continue to utilize its Cookeville facility as a distribution center.
"The Plateau Pipe acquisition will enable CONTECH to expand our Southeastern distribution points and to better serve the region with the most comprehensive selection of drainage and site solution products available," said Ron Keating, president and CEO of CONTECH.
Thompson Culvert has facilities in St. Louis, Sikeston and Springfield, Missouri. It has serviced Missouri, Illinois and a number of other Midwestern states with the manufacturing of corrugated steel pipe and the distribution of related construction products since 1964. CONTECH will continue to operate out of each of the Thompson facilities.
"This acquisition is a strong fit with CONTECH and represents another key investment to grow our drainage business," Keating said.
West Chester-based CONTECH Construction Products provides site solution products and services for the civil engineering industry. Its product portfolio includes bridges, drainage, retaining walls, sanitary sewer, stormwater, erosion control and soil stabilization solutions.
