(Louisville, Kentucky) – Dawn Food Products may invest more than $1 million in improvements to its facility here and add 20 jobs in the process.

The company was recently given preliminary approval for $190,000 in state tax incentives toward the proposed project.

Dawn already has about 200 employees in Louisville. It was unclear when the company would make a final decision on whether to move forward with the project.

Jackson, Michigan-based Dawn supplies a complete line of quality, consistent mixes, bases, icings, glazes, fillings, frozen dough, par-baked and fully baked products and equipment to the global food industry.
