(Farmington Hills, Michigan) - RS Technologies Acquisition Corp., a subsidiary of New York-based PCB Piezotronics, plans to invest $1.7 million to expand here so it can provide a complete line of threaded fastener torque-tension systems.

RS is expected to create 40 additional jobs as a result of the project.

The state recently approved a tax credit worth more than $400,000 over seven years to help convince the company to expand in Michigan over a competing site in New York. The Michigan Economic Development Corp. helped broker the deal.
