(Vienna, Ohio) – Lexington Precision Corp. will shut down its facility here, putting 150 out of work. The closure is expected to start at the end of May and take several weeks, according to a notice filed with the state of Ohio.
Lexington Precision manufactures tight-tolerance rubber and metal components for use in medical, automotive, and industrial applications, according to its website. The company is based in New York and Cleveland and has several other production facilities in Ohio along with South Carolina, Georgia and New York.

Several other companies also gave notices to the state including:
*National Machinery, which will reduce hours for up to 340 workers in Tiffin, Ohio starting in May;
*Trelleborg, which will shutter its Hartville, Ohio plant and layoff about 90 workers starting in May;
*Siemens Energy & Automation, which will close its Urbana plant a year sooner than expected. 174 employees will be affected by the move. Layoffs will begin in May and end by July 31.
