(Dayton, Ohio) - Rumford Industrial Group Inc. was recently chosen to distribute the new line of Belesta lubricant products.

Belesta, a new division of Belzona, manufactures several lubricant concentrates, a chain and slide lubricant and high-temperature/extreme pressure grease. The Belesta line is designed to reduce friction, noise and wear while saving money by reducing energy consumption.

“Overall, Belesta’s solution radically outperforms traditional lubricants because it takes advantage of very different physical and chemical phenomena than traditional lubricants,” said Robert Salerno, division director for RIG.

Over the summer, Rumford worked with several industries – including auto and boat racing and the chemical industries - to test market the products in Kentucky and Michigan.

“The maintenance guys are reporting a 2/3 reduction in grease usage, reduced vibration on the motors and a quieter environment with Belesta,” says RIG sales consultant Richard Delk, talking about the chemical company trial.
