(Crawfordsville, Indiana) – RV maker Fleetwood (NYSE: FLE) will close its manufacturing facility here on January 19, affecting 109 workers. Company officials informed workers of the move on November 21, citing excess capacity as a result of deteriorating industry conditions. Employees have no bumping rights to transfer to another Fleetwood facility.

In October, Fleetwood announced it would relocate production from its plant in Paxinos, Pennsylvania to plants in Decatur, Indiana. The Paxinos manufacturing facility will cease operations effective early December 2008.
