Cleveland Automation Company Mayfran Acquires Canadian Conveyor Firm

(Cleveland, Ohio) - Mayfran International, a manufacturer of engineered factory automation systems, has purchased Press Room Techniques of Lindsay, Ontario. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Press Room Techniques develops and manufacturers of a line of patented products that manage scrap in stamping operations.

According to a news release from Mayfran, Press Room Techniques’ innovative “shuffle” conveyor systems complement Mayfran’s current line of scrap handling solutions.

“The shuffle conveyor integrates well with existing Mayfran technology and allows us to bring an even more complete solution to our customers”, says J.D. Sullivan, CEO of Mayfran.

Mayfran International is a global manufacturer of engineered automation systems and equipment for metalworking, recycling, solid waste processing and other operations. Mayfran's products convey, filter, separate, briquette, shred and process scrap materials and fluids in automated manufacturing and scrap management facilities in the automotive, aerospace, consumer products, oil and gas, steel processing, solid waste, pulp and paper, medical products, industrial products, heavy equipment, and related industries.
