Cleveland, Ohio's Jergens, Inc. Acquires Pennsylvania-Based Bock Workholding Inc.

(Cleveland, Ohio) — Jergens, Inc., one of the world’s largest manufacturers of standard tooling components, vises, and other holding equipment, announced it has acquired Bock Workholding Inc.

Bock - based in Ford City, Pa. with sales partners in Europe, Asia, and Australia - is a manufacturer and distributor of work holding solutions designed to improve the productivity of vertical and horizontal machining centers and flexible manufacturing cells.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“Bock’s and Jergens’ combined product lines are a perfect fit,” said Sean Stapulionis, Jergens’ tooling and components division general manager, in a news release.

Bock offers a large selection of work holding solutions, including twin production vises, locating systems, 5-axis vises, and more.

Founded in 1942, Jergens, Inc. has grown into four separate operating divisions providing engineered solutions and products.
