ANAHEIM, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DDi Corp. (NASDAQ:DDIC), a provider of time-critical, technologically-advanced printed circuit board (“PCB”) engineering and manufacturing services, announced that it has received the AS 9100:2004-01 certification for its Virginia facility. AS9100 is an internationally recognized aerospace industry standard for quality assurance in design, development, production, installation, and service. The AS9100 certification is an extension of the more familiar ISO9001:2000 with enhanced requirements targeted to this market segment's specific demands. In 2007, DDi received the AS9100 certification for its Anaheim, Milpitas and Ohio facilities.

Introduced in the United States by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and recognized internationally, Aerospace's AS9100 standardizes, to the maximum extent possible, the quality system requirements of the industry. Standardization of such requirements can result in cost savings along with improved quality systems.
